The EBOAT project<\/strong> aims to develop a digital twin of a hybrid passenger vessel, based on the integration and analysis of experimentally collected data. The main objective is to create an advanced digital model capable of replicating the vessel\u2019s real-world behavior, supporting the optimisation of its energy, operational and environmental performance.<\/p>\n

By leveraging innovative digital technologies, the project seeks to improve the efficiency of hybrid propulsion systems, reduce energy consumption and contribute to the development of more sustainable solutions for the maritime mobility sector.<\/p>\n

    The EBOAT project focuses on the development of an advanced digital platform for the simulation and monitoring of hybrid passenger vessels.     Technical Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The project is based on an advanced combination of physics-based and data-driven models, built from experimental data collected on the real vessel.<\/p>\n

    The digital system is designed to simulate in real time the behavior of the main subsystems and optimize overall performance through:<\/p>\n

    • Integration of energy storage systems and management of energy flows<\/li>\n
    • Analysis of experimental data for calibration and validation of the digital model<\/li>\n

    • Simulation of operational scenarios to optimize performance and energy consumption<\/li>\n
    • Support for maintenance activities through diagnostic and predictive tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The integration of these elements allows dynamic analysis of the vessel\u2019s behavior, improving energy efficiency and operational management.<\/p>\n
