The Energy Management Storage System project represents a significant innovation in renewable energy and efficient energy management.
The system is designed to optimize energy use in hybrid facilities by integrating advanced technologies such as salt-based storage conversion systems and generator sets, while incorporating essential functions like load leveling and peak shaving.
The salt-based storage conversion system uses molten salt to store thermal energy. This form of energy storage is particularly well suited to hybrid facilities that combine renewable energy sources such as solar or wind with conventional power generation. Salt storage makes it possible to store surplus energy produced during peak renewable generation periods and release it when needed, ensuring a stable and reliable energy supply.
Generator sets, which are internal combustion engines used to produce electricity, are integrated into hybrid systems as backup units or to provide additional power during periods of low renewable energy production. The combination of generator sets with the salt-based storage system reduces dependence on fossil fuels, improves overall energy efficiency and helps lower greenhouse gas emissions.
