The LFP Grid Booster project developed by E2C in the fields of STORAGE SYSTEMS and E-MOBILITY represents an advanced technological solution designed to tackle a key challenge in electric vehicle charging infrastructure: increasing the available power for charging stations.
This innovative system combines conversion and storage capabilities, allowing it to convert electrical energy and store it in high-efficiency batteries, then release it as needed. It intelligently manages energy demand from charging stations, providing additional support during peak periods when the grid may not be able to meet demand efficiently.
With the growing number of electric vehicles, demand for charging energy is rising rapidly, putting pressure on existing electrical grids, particularly in high-density areas or locations where infrastructure is not adequately sized to handle consumption peaks.
Our LFP Grid Booster addresses these challenges by offering an agile and flexible solution that adapts to the needs of both the grid and end users. Using Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, known for their safety, reliability and long lifespan, the system stores energy during low-demand periods and releases it quickly during peaks, ensuring charging stations always have the power they need to operate effectively.
