TEST LAB
Within E2C facilities, there is a dedicated Test Lab designed to replicate and test various types of renewable energy systems by simulating a wide range of operating scenarios.
Battery Test Bench
E2C has developed an advanced automatic control station, an innovative system focused on end-of-line production testing. It enables precise identification of assembly defects, communication anomalies in the Battery Management System (BMS), malfunctions in power switches, irregularities in balancing circuits or battery consistency, and verification of performance data.
Equipped with multiple safety devices to prevent overvoltage, overcurrent and overheating, and enhanced with a device for detecting external parameters, the test bench also includes a monitoring and self-calibration system for measurement and power supply instruments.
Key features of the system include compliance with international battery testing standards such as CEI, ISO, UL and others, high-precision current and voltage measurements (±1.25 A / ±0.1 V), a current reading speed of up to 4 ms, efficient recovery of energy discharged from the battery with an approximate efficiency of 94% and the ability to perform dynamic driving profile simulation tests for WLTP in terms of current and power.
Tests for Hybrid Boats
In the Test Lab, E2C can faithfully replicate hybrid boat propulsion systems, including motors, throttle controls and storage batteries, to conduct comprehensive tests that ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
This detailed testing methodology is essential for evaluating system performance under the most demanding operating conditions.
